From opportunity search to your next action

  • Search live federal opportunities: use a project keyword and an applicant category to narrow your results.
  • Review official requirements: see eligible applicant types, additional eligibility text, award amounts, cost-sharing and deadline information when supplied by Grants.gov.
  • Explore more results: move through result pages and export the current page to CSV.
  • Go to the source: open the official announcement and attachments before preparing an application.
  • Save to My pipeline: keep promising opportunities, assign an owner, set a status, and record the next action and its due date.
  • Keep a backup: export your pipeline to CSV for spreadsheet use, or download a JSON backup to restore missing opportunities in another browser.

How to get started

  1. Select your applicant category, such as city, village or township.
  2. Search for a project keyword—for example, water, emergency or transportation—or leave the keyword blank to browse your category.
  3. Choose Review requirements on a promising result, then open the official announcement.
  4. Select Save to pipeline, then open My pipeline.
  5. Add an owner, next action and action due date, then select Save plan. Download a backup regularly.

What Grant Navigator covers

This free release supports federal grant discovery, requirements review and a saved application pipeline. Your pipeline stays in the same browser on the same device. Clearing site data or closing private browsing can erase it. JSON backups can restore missing opportunities; existing records and your municipal profile stay unchanged. The tracker does not include accounts, automatic cross-device sync or email reminders. State grant programs and automated eligibility determinations are not included. Applicant-category filters do not evaluate geography, population, project purpose or other program restrictions.

Grant information comes from Grants.gov and can change. Review the full official announcement for current requirements and deadlines. Response-Depot is an independent resource and is not affiliated with Grants.gov or a federal agency.
