This free AAR Action Tracker helps you follow up on an exercise, incident review, or continuity test. No account or checkout required.

Start here: a useful corrective action has five parts
  1. Finding: what happened and what evidence supports it?
  2. Change: what specific procedure, capability, or resource will improve?
  3. Owner and due date: who is accountable and when is it due?
  4. Closure evidence: what demonstrates the change was implemented?
  5. Verification: how and when did you check that the change worked?

“Update the plan” is too broad. “Approve an alternate-notification procedure, brief duty staff, and demonstrate it in a no-email drill” is actionable. Agree actions with the responsible team.

Work stays in this page until you export it or choose Save on this device. Device saving uses this browser only; there is no account, cloud backup, or team sync. Use non-sensitive working notes and your approved system for official records.

Save on this device or download a JSON backup before leaving. When supported, your browser warns about edits that have not been saved or backed up. CSV and print are review copies; they do not preserve an editable backup.

Restore a backup or clear this workspace

Download a backup before switching devices or clearing your browser. CSV is for spreadsheet review; use the JSON backup to restore editable actions here. Restoring replaces the current workspace after confirmation.

Keep the improvement process moving

At the next review, ask each owner what changed, what is blocking progress, and what evidence is ready. Re-test priority actions before calling the underlying problem resolved.
